Hike off trail to Walnut Canyon at “Y4”
(see TOPO map).
We’ll go off trail across the mesa to “R1”.
Continue off trail, crossing old roads on our way to “Y4”
with hopeful views of Walnut Canyon dwellings.
Route length will depend on the start-point and hikers.

Fry’s parking lot on the SW corner of I-17 & Bell Road. Park
behind Denny’s, near the entrance to the Deer Valley Park & Ride.

to trailhead.
