Fisher Point Day Hike

where Flagstaff
the hike     Drop a vehicle off at the Canyon Vista Campground and continue on to the USGS Trailhead (all roads paved). The hike will travel west past Marshall Lake, along Anderson Mesa, down Walnut Canyon to the Sandy’s Canyon Trail, and to the caves at Fisher Point. Then we’ll walk back to Sandy’s Canyon Trailhead at the Canyon View Campground.
    Bring rain/hail equipment. It was quite a storm a few days ago up there.

weather Flagstaff
meet 6:30 AM in the Fry’s parking lot on the SW corner of I-17 & Bell Road. Park behind Denny’s, near the entrance to the Deer Valley Park & Ride.
drive Go north on I-17 approximately 124 miles and take exit 339 for Lake Mary Road.
