where Flagstaff
the hike A beautiful high mountain hike with pine and aspen trees and great views. This includes a section of the Arizona Trail.
distance 12 miles, but this is an in and out, so people can go back at any point as long as they have someone with them. The junction of the Arizona Trail and Aspen Corner Trail is unmarked, so persons must watch the trail and turn at the correct trail.
time 5-6 hours
EC Virtually no elevation change on this hike. Some call this the easiest mountain hike. It starts at 8,928 feet and tops out at 9,000.

•  From Flagstaff drive north on U.S. Rt. 180 for seven miles to Forest Service Road 516, also known as Snowbowl Road.
Turn right and continue 5.1 miles up Snowbowl Road to the Aspen Corner parking area.
All the roads are paved.
