Arizona Trailblazers Hiking Club
Strawberry Crater/Sandy Seep exploratory hike
when Trip Report : October 2, 2021
where Flagstaff, just north of the San Francisco Peaks
the hike     The Strawberry Trail is only 2.3 miles round trip, but we may explore more there to get more mileage. Hike to the top of Strawberry Crater, which is only 200 feet in elevation going from.
Sandy Seep is a trailhead that lets you connect with the Arizona Trail, but we will be taking it to the Fat Man’s Pass loop and Pipeline trail. This trail only has about 300 ft of elevation change, but it runs for over 10 miles to the other side of the San Francisco Peaks. We will just use it to loop around the bottom of the mountain and see the leaves in many different colors. Then back to the cars.
