where Four Peaks Wilderness
the hike     The trail takes you through gorgeous Sonoran Desert. We’ll start off on the south portion of the Pine Creek Loop, taking in views of the surrounding mountains. Then proceed uphill on the Ballantine Trail, through the Camp Creek area, to an area called Boulder Flat. We’ll see a lot of misshapen boulders and see whose imagination is the most creative! From here, the plan is to take a little detour to Rock Creek, and then return the way we came.
