Want to hike but not spend the whole weekend?
Join me on an off-trail adventure.
Prepare for climbing over logs and dodging bushes. We’ll try to hike south easterly down Deer Lake Canyon to the intersection of Chevelon Canyon. Then head south toward “CS1” where we hope to crawl out. Once on top we hike a road to “R3” cross to upper reaches of the South Fork as we head northwest back to our vehicles.
