the hike     Cool pines are calling. See attached route.
    The hike leader has done the blue portion. It is easy walking with a hop or two over deadfall. Out and back round trip, 6 miles +-700 feet. The red portion is exploratory: 8.5 miles loop, +-1200 feet.
    We’ll park near on the east side of SR 87, across the road from Clover Spring. High clearance vehicles are not required.

meet 6:30 AM in the parking lot of Target Center on the south side of Shea Blvd., about a mile west of Highway 87 (Beeline). For those leaving their cars behind, please park up against the northernmost curb facing Shea Blvd. opposite the Target store.
