West: Estimate 2 miles round trip, +-800' to explore mine sites
8 and 9. May expect old Jeep road with some bushwhacking.
East: Drive vehicles 1/2 mile further north on FR201 then park. Hike Jeep road to the Mercuria Mine. Estimate 2 miles round trip, +-400'. Depending on temperature and the group, drive FR201 north 2.5 mi to the intersection with FR1701 then park. We hike Jeep roads to the Pine Mt. Mine and explore. Estimate 3 miles round trip, +-500'. |
