the hike |
For the 2nd Sedona Sunset experience we will explore the
Carroll Canyon trail system, then move on to the Airport Loop.
Included will be a visit to two of the more renowned area landmarks, the
Sedona Airport Vortex and the Sedona Airport Overlook, which becomes at dusk
an international melting pot of scenic admirers. This hike is being announced
well in advance to accommodate participants who may want to incorporate
further overnight or weekend plans in the area.
The last 1.5 miles of the hike will be in fading light, so bring a form of illumination.
Due to the late conclusion no formal post-hike meal is planned, so pack plenty of
food and water. Do not sign up for this hike if you expect to accommodate any
other evening plans outside of the immediate Sedona area.
