where? Superior
the hike     Experience the lush beauty of the Upland Sonoran Desert at Arizona’s oldest and largest botanical garden. With spectacular views of Picketpost Mountain, Boyce Thompson Arboretum (BTA) is located in scenic Queen Creek Canyon, just 30 minutes from Mesa, Arizona.
    From December 6th to 21st, every Saturday and Sunday the Arboretum will feature themed crafts, local vendors, and festive activities. It is a great chance to enjoy the holiday spirit and find unique gifts for loved ones.
    Holiday Hangout kicks off with Santa Weekend on December 6–7!
    Stop by the Smith Greenhouses between 10 AM – 2 PM for photos with Santa. Bring your family for fun holiday pictures in a beautiful setting.
    Holiday Hangout activities are free with regular admission.
    Photos, treats, and merchandise will be available for purchase.
    Most trails are wheelchair, but a few are rock and narrow. Some trails have stairs

on trail 100% — The High Trail will be the highest and it is a real trail with un-even footing.

•  Go east on US 60 to Boyce Thompson Arboretum.
If you reach Superior you have gone too far. Turn around.
