The Butcher Jones Trail is one of prettiest trails with a light elevation gain. There are some areas of rocky terrain on the trail, but no need to scramble. Just watch the footing. This trail has many picturesque points and a lot of diversity in vegetation, which makes the hike more enjoyable.

Fishermen like Saguaro Lake.

The weather was pleasant with a high of 65°. We started at 8:45 AM and finished at noon, with many breaks for beautiful views from Saguaro Lake, mountain curves, and most of all for communication.
