Thanks for coming to walk with me on such a beautiful hike. I was worried about
the 100°F heat, but we are Arizona Trailblazers. Nothing is going to stop us
from enjoying the outdoors!
Haha, actually it was pretty nice, with lots of shade and comfortable temperatures.

I was glad to see everyone again!
It was hot when we gathered in the crowded parking lot, as befits the month
of May. Most of us knew each other from previous hikes. We started walking
east, toward the Scottsdale Road Bridge.
I’ve gotten so slow that I lagged behind the others. Also, I like to stop
and take pictures. They were already coming back from the Scottsdale Road
Bridge when I was still walking east. So I took a group picture and turned around.
It was the same way going west. When I got back to the parking lot, no other
Trailblazers were in sight, but I could see my car.
So I walked back to my car. Lin found me as I was driving away.
All is well.
