This was a two day trip to Willcox and the Chiricahuas. The weather was good, but cold. We were in motels, so night time lows did not matter to us. The first day was checking out the thousand of Sandhile cranes. This year there were mass of them in lakes. After dark we returned to Willcox and had dinner at Isabels. They have very good Mexican food. The other good Mexican place only has outdoor seating, so not good for a cold January night.

To start the second day we went to a Pecans farm. These Pecans are very good, locally grown and packed. They alos have other nuts from the local area. From the farm three of us went to the Chiricahuas and the other two returned to Phoenix. We did the Echo and Rhyolite trails. This got us back to the Visitor center and our car. From here we went to Clearwater for more Sandhills and other birds. After Clearwater we returned to Willcox for BBQ. The Big Tx BBQ has very good BBQ and some persons ordered extra to take home. Saturday is also half priced rib night.
