Mogollon Rim Car Camping & Kayaking & Hiking Trip

•  General Description:

Stretching 200 miles from Yavapai County to New Mexico, the Mogollon Rim provides breathtaking views overlooking an expansive forest of pine trees. The rim is a true geological wonder, hosting sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks dating back to the Precambrian era.

While the temperature at valley in the 100+ in June, there is a place only two hours’ drive, at 7000 feet elevation with comfortable and cool breeze—the Mogollon Rim. There are many lakes for kayaking, fishing, not to mention there are many hiking trails waiting for you to explore. Are you ready for an adventure with Camping, Hiking, and Kayaking with us?

We booked campsites at Mogollon Campground on June 26-30, four nights and five days. We will be kayaking at Wood Canyon, Willow Springs Lake, Blue Ridge Reservoir and more; we will hike Woods Canyon Lake perimeter loop, Rim Vista loop, Rim to Highline trail, Clover Creek, or and West Clear Creek Trail (more detail will be provided).
