Varied surfaces: gravel, sand, wash, compacted dirt, rock slabs.
Be sure to stop occasionally and turn round 360 – the scenery is gorgeous!
Flat desert vistas nicely broken up by bluffs. Decomposed granite trail. First half is gentle, gradual constant uphill. Rocky cave and boulders near the halfway point.
