Pima Air Museum Day Hike

where	Tucson
the hike	This is an interesting hike. We will do the hike backwards. Outside in the morning when it is cooler and the inside for the afternoon. There is lots to see: planes and spacecraft form different countries and times. For the aircraft they have Wright Flyer to the SR-71. Some of these aircraft are one of a kind.     Some copies you have seen in Bond movies and on the card next to them, you can see why no one ever built them for general use. They have the old Air Force 1 aircraft from previous admirations. Some aircraft you can go into if you climb the stairs. Other stairs let you get above the crafts so you get a birds eye view.     For the Space side they have a Saturn 5 rocket on its side, so you can pace it if you want. They have shuttle, Moon, Mars and other space display. Required: •  Walking shoes •  At least 1 bottle of water, you can refill on the grounds •  Snacks •  No large bags, so only small waist, purse, camera bags Recommended: •  Camera

cost	$18.50 less than 65; $15.75 for 65 or older. Sharing gas expenses with the driver. The club also allows voluntary contributions of $5 per non-member.

meet	8:00 AM in the Einstein Bros. Bagels parking lot. Ray &amo; 48 St, just to the west of I-10.
drive	•  Take I-10 to the south side of Tucson. • Take Valencia exit. • Go north a short distance and park in the museum parking lot. • Museum opens at 9 AM and we should be there at 9:30 AM.
