There were 13 Trailblazers on this hike. We got off to a rocky start as when we got to the trailhead half of our
group could not find parking. That half went to the overflow lot and started hiking from there. That added
an extra mile to the hike The other half started from the main lot and meet us where the trail join about 0.5
miles from the main lot. There are a few trails that branch off of the Bell, but we stayed on the Bell until we got
to the Crack. The Crack was our turn a round spot.

It was time to start back so we could go see the Crane Petroglyph Heritage Site. It was forecast that the
high was going to be in the low 80's, but by the time we got to the cars it was in the 90's. There were clound
which helped a lot. The is no shade on the Bell trail, except at the Crack. We get back to the cars in the main lot
and they take the drivers over to the overflow lot.

Crane Petroglyph Heritage Site was called the V Bar V ranch, but has now been renamed. This is due
to the fact that this is one of the few sites with crane petroglyph. Sandhill cranes do roost and fly in this area.
There is plenty of shade here.
They have added a stone seating area next to the petroglyph panels. There is a lot of petroglyph here.
Wet Beaver creek flow the year around here. For some of the spirals there are rock that cast shadows at
special times of the year. This let the prehistoric tell time. It was clouldy when we get here, so no time
telling today. These panels are very large with many drawing.
