The Anasazi-Continental Figure-8 can be walked eight ways: you can start with
either loop trail, and walk each trail either clockwise or counterclockwise.
This is a good easy summer hike, but do watch the weather. Expect to meet hikers,
runners, bicyclists, equestrians, squirrels and lizards on the trail. Bring your camera.
When you get to the junction of the Anasazi and Campbell Mesa loop trails you have a choice. You can either complete the Anasazi Loop (total of 5 miles) or add the longer Campbell Mesa Loop (total of 10 miles).
Those who choose the same option should ride together, since hikers who choose different options will be returning to Campbell Mesa Trailhead at different times.
