The trail will take you up against the base of gorgeous red cliffs.
It’s one of the best for viewing rock formations and the red and
white sculptured cliffs of Maroon Mountain.
The first 1.5 miles are in open country with almost no shade, so sunscreen
and a hat are recommended.
