the hike     The hike begins at the 24th Street Mormon Trailhead, aka Neighborhood Canyon. This portion offers a short but challenging hike and will connect with the National Trail.
We will proceed west on the National Trail. As we pass Fat Man’s Pass, there may be a delay here and some “horsing around” as we may see who goes through and who goes over Fat Man’s Pass. We hike westward to Buena Vista Lookout and descend down the north side of the mountain via Geronimo Trail.
