On a cool and cloudy morning the Arizona Trailblazer got off to a dry, but soon be be rainy day.
We started at the Pomeroy Tanks. They have been used for thousands of years. They have water all year.
We were going to the Sycamore canyon overlook, but the thunder gods decided that we needed to cut the
hike shorter. The overlook is up in the open on top of the plateau where lighting is a problem.
The creek was not flowing, so the odds were that the falls would not be flowing. The rain clouds made the views great.
There were some rock climber. This is a great area to get your training in on rock climbing.

We got to Sycamore Falls before the rain strted, so the rock climbers were still there. The rock climbers soon
put up their gear and left for the day.
The rain clouds keep making their way toward us. This will be out turn a round point due to lighting.
This is a great spot to take pictures and look down the canyon. The rain finally get here, so it is time to
get back to the cars. On the way out we spot some sheep and they due not seem to care about the rain.
