Trailblazers first kayak trip to Tempe Town Lake.
Casual night kayak under full moon on the well lit up Tempe Town Lake. The lake’s bridges and walkways are festively lit up year around reflecting on the water. Trailblazers first night kayak was total darkness of new moon on Apache Lake, our second the moon ducked behind clouds before a downpour commenced. This third should be the charm. Let’s have fun decorating our kayaks and ourselves with lights and glowsticks. The more lights the merrier! Headlamp is good for loading up afterwards. Light Suggestions: Lanterns inside the hull will glow through, Christmas or fairy string lights, Solar/Chinese lanterns, Bike/jogging lights, Long glowsticks connect together for necklaces, chains Lights don’t need to be bright you still want night vision. White lights attract bugs remember. Required: • Life Jacket and whistle • Headlamp • Light/Glowsticks |
