AZT 27 Blue Ridge Passage Day Hike

where	Mogollon Rim
the hike	The hike is on top of the Rim but has a major descent and climb at East Clear Creek. See map of the passage and profile. On the south end we will start at a trailhead on FR 123A about 7 miles from the south end of this passage. On the north end we will start at the trailhead just south of SR 87     Lunch at my cabin after, for anyone interested.     If we don’t get enough hikers for a key exchange, we will start at Blue Ridge Trailhead and go out and back for a total of 10 miles.

meet in Fountain Hills	6:00 AM in the parking lot of Target Center on the south side of Shea Blvd., about a mile west of Highway 87 (Beeline). For those leaving their cars behind, please park up against the north curb facing Shea Blvd. opposite the Target store.
meet in Pine	7:30 AM at Pine Trailhead.
drive	•  From Target in Fountains Hills, go east on Shea Blvd to SR 87 and turn left. Drive north through Payson and stay on SR 87 through Pine and Strawberry. • From the intersection of State Routes 87 and 260 north of Strawberry, go north on SR 87 2.6 miles and turn right on FR 300 a well-maintained unpaved road. • Go east 11.4 miles and turn left onto FR 123. • Go north 5.9 miles to FR 123A and follow for 0.2 miles to the trailhead. For those going to the north end: • Continue north on SR 87 19.5 miles from the SR87/260 junction north to Pine and turn right on FR 138 Strawberry to FR 138 where there are signs for Moqui Campground. • Turn left and go south. The trailhead is about 100 yards south, and on the left.
