where? Sunflower
the hike     Walk east on the Arizona Trail passage 21 along Sycamore Creek, then turn south on the Boulder Pass Trail to Boulder Bob’s Cabin. Return the same way. This exploratory hike requires a minimum of 3 people. Bring lots of water.
    Passage 21 of the Arizona Trail is described on pages 174-179 of Arizona Trail: The Official Guide by Tom Jones and Jerry Sieve, Westcliffe Publishers, 2005.

meet 6:30 AM in the parking lot of Wendy’s on the north side of Shea Blvd., about a block west of Highway 87 (Beeline). For those leaving their cars behind, please park in the back parking lot of Wendy’s.
drive Take the Beeline Highway (Arizona 87) north toward Payson, exit near Sunflower, “Bushnell Tanks”.
