TThis Free Air Show features the US Air Force Thunderbirds in addition to 15 other acts including WW 2 Warbirds, stunt flyers,
a jet truck, and demonstration flights of some of the most advance military aircraft in the world.
There are also many static displays and food vendors.
I have been to this show many times and it is thrilling and exciting. I especially like the Van Halen Music to get everyone pumped up.
Bring your REAL ID, lawn chair, sunscreen and see Prohibited items.
Although the Air Show is free, a parking pass costs $45, and must be purchased online. Distance: It is 0.5 mile from the Litchfield Parking Lot to the gate and the displays extend at least another half mile, so be prepared to walk at least 2 miles. Our Rallying Point, if needed, will be the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor Static Display. There may be 100,000 people or more attending. The gates open at 8:00 am and close 5:00 pm. The show runs from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. |

| meet | Cancelled. We will carpool from the north end of the Target parking lot on the SE corner of McDowell and Litchfield Road. I have room for 3-4 more people in my vehicle. Others please purchase your parking passes separately. The Litchfield lot is small, fills up fast and allows Base access by walking. Other Lots are available (Dysart Lot and Desert Diamond Lot), see Luke Shuttle provides shuttle service to the show. I will be getting there early to reserve space for us South of Show Center. |
