Watson Lake Trail and Beyond Day Hike
when September 9, 2023
  Trip Report : December 14, 2013

where Prescott
the hike We will be taking a trail that goes around Watson Lake and hike little beyond up to the mountain next to Peavine Trail to make a few small loops then return to Watson lake trail. We will starting out at the Peavine Trailhead, going through the Riparian area for the first mile, then hiking through the boulders seeing beautiful views of the lake below and ending up on Watson lake trail back to Peavine Trail to finish our hike. This hike may involve some scrambling so sturdy hiking boots with good traction is required. Prepare climbing flat and large boulders and seeing water falls in the dam area. Part of hike is exploratory since I only hiked partial trail before. After the hike, if there is enough interested parties, we may stop at Prescott for a meal.
