Boyce Thompson Arboretum Day Hike

the hike     Experience the lush beauty of the Upland Sonoran Desert at Arizona’s oldest and largest botanical garden. With spectacular views of Picketpost Mountain, Boyce Thompson Arboretum (BTA) is located in scenic Queen Creek Canyon, just 30 minutes from Mesa, Arizona.
    This will be a quick hike at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. It is a $15 entry fee and you can stay after to enjoy the exhibits. We can also have a potluck brunch there if anyone is interested. We will walk about 3.5 miles on the hike.

•  Go south on US 60 to Boyce Thompson Arboretum.
If you reach Superior you have gone too far. Turn around.
