Arizona Trailblazers Hiking Club
Andrews-Kinsey Trail Day Hike

when? Trip Report : December 7, 2014
where? McDowell Preserve, Scottsdale
the hike     Andrews-Kinsey Trail is recently opened in McDowell Sonoran Preserve. It’s a well maintained trail with many minor ups-downs. We will hike Sunrise Trail 2.2 miles to get to the junction with Andrews-Kinsey Trail. From the junction we will hike 2 miles on the Andrews-Kinsey Trail to the mark within the boundaries of the City of Scottsdale McDowell Sonoran Preserve and leads into the Fountain Hills Preserve.
This hike provides good exercise through sustained ups-downs, raising our heart rate to help strengthen the heart, strengthen the legs and burn calories.
The beautiful views along the way at Four Peaks, Superstitions, Adero Canyon, Fountain Hills, mountain ranges and Sonoran Desert surroundings will make the miles go faster.
