Sunrise Day Hike

the hike	Billie Horn will lead this short hike up North Mountain (paved road) to enjoy the sunrise on Christmas Eve morning, December 24th.     Enter North Mountain Park from 7th Street and Peoria (light). Turn into the park and follow the one way road to the first Ramada with tables and parking lot on the right. If all the parking spots are filled (not likely), continue to the large parking on the left and then walk back to join us. We will go up the rocky trail to join the paved road.     Bring a flashlight or headlamp, camera, and a snack to eat as we watch the sunrise. Last year Nature put on quite a show, starting 30 minutes before sunrise.     Dress warmly.     In case of complete overcast, high wind, or rain, I will not show up.

drive	•  At the traffic light on 7th St. and Peoria Ave., go west. This is the entrance to the park. • Upon entering, follow the one way road to the first parking area with Ramada/tables on the right.
