Come and join me to burn some calories before Thanksgiving. The National
Trailhead is at 1200' and the trail winds through the South Mountain Park.
We should be back at the cars by noon doing a leisurely pace. We will stop
to eat the snack at Fat Man's pass and return on the Hidden Valley Trail.
The Hidden Valley Trail has the only two shady spots in South Mountain.
Required: • Sturdy hiking boots • At least 3 liters of water • Rain poncho • Hat, sunblock, sunglasses Recommended: • Lunch or snacks • Camera |

| drive | National Trailhead: From Fry's, go south 1 mile to the National Trailhead. The trailhead is well marked on the west side of 48th St & Guadalupe. It is accessible in a sedan. |
