Peralta Regional Park is the newest Regional Park in Pinal.
They have just completed the first stage of the park. So,
it is time for the Trailblazers to check it out. This is an exploratory hike, with most of the trails just completed. There will be some flowers left to see. With the trails being so new, there will be some rough spots and route finding expected. Please left the aminals alone, they have not gotten use to humans being around yet. This will be a short hike of 5 to 6 miles. We should be done before noon and the high heat of the day. We will start at the Oro Vista Trailhead off the Main trailhead area and follow it to the connect with the Desperado Trail as it traces the outer edge of the park. Then we take the Saguaro loop. Then over to the Oro Vista loop and back to our cars. Hopefully we will get back to the cars before 11 AM. There is a restroom at the trailhead, but no water. |

Go east on the Superstition Freeway (US 60) to Peralta Road. Take that exit,
turn left (north) and go on the paved road, past
the school. Peralta Road changes to good dirt road graded for cars.
Turn right into the park. Take the first left and park in the trailhead parking
