 We made it to the towers. |

Forest Service had the area of Dirtyneck Canyon closed off due to the Coldwater Fire. On to Plan B: we hiked the mini Mt Ord loop. At 8:00 AM we started from the intersection of FR 27 and FR 626. After hiking the road to the towers, we returned off trail on the ridgeline. |

After the hike we went to visit an old friend who lives at the base of Mt. Ord. We ended the hike with grub at Nando’s. 4.8-5.2 miles, +-1350 feet. → More pictures, by Tom. |
