Billie Horn led this hike.
8 hikers met before sunup. After the group photo, we began a gradual climb in an easterly
direction. This is an out and back trail with a short loop part way up. The Ridgeline Trail
could be described as a roller coaster of ups and downs. It seems like there is as much
uphill coming back as there is going out and yet we do top out 837' higher.
The trails here are fairly new, well maintained and in places appear to be planned by
landscapers. One hiker described it “like walking in a landscaper model display”.
We had a cooler morning to hike, but on the way back we were all happy when a nice
breeze came up to escort us to the parking area.

The trails are well signed.

Since the sun is later coming up, the drives to our chosen trailheads have been in darkness
lately. So next week we will meet at 6:30 at Spur Cross. More info later.
