We all meet at the Warpaint Trailhead, where parking was a little problem.
There was twelve of us. We started on the Warpaint Loop and quickly got on the Desert
Classic Trail. Mohammed spotted some Javelina, just before we got to the Lower Corona.
This gave everyone time to shed their first layer. We started going up the Corona De Loma
Trail that was very steep, and after we got to the top, we all took a small break before going
over to Buena Vista. We had a few photo opportunities along the way.

The trail is steep here, wouldn’t you say? [photo by Chris]

We took a few minutes break at Buena Vista and took some more photos.
Then we went up to a place on top of the Old Man Trail to have lunch, where
Mohammed had a spot picked out for us.

The group went down the Old Man Trail that is steep and has loose rocks and dirt.
We stopped halfway down and took a small break. At the end of the Old Man Trail, we
took the Secret Trail that is a Cyclists’ favorite. The trail connects to the DC
Trail, where we made our way back.
There were so many cyclists that it made it difficult to make our way back.
We found our way back to Warpaint Loop back to the trailhead.

Aren’t you glad it’s all over? [photo by Jeff]
