We had a successful hike today. Beautiful day, clean air, 74° at noon.

Seven hikers: Junette B. led and Lin C. was the co-leader.

This hike took three hours, a little longer than anticipated, because of the rocky and slippery area from the loop to the hands and back. We hiked a little past the Praying Hands to catch the view on the other side. Beautiful.

My ham radio received the Usery Repeater signal from there too. I made contact with a fellow who runs Mesa ham radio training sessions.

We hiked 3.3 miles, +-822' elevation gain.
