We kicked off the new hiking year with a day hike and 8 intrepid hikers braved the rain and cold to complete the hike.

From the trail head, shrouded in mist, we drop into Blue Wash. We traveled south past snags, large granite rock formations, lining the wash and the remains of a car (the bumper looks like an old Cadillac). After a mile, Blue Wash converged with Camp Creek. If you look up, you will see a flag marking the location of a mine.

We headed to our left up the Creek for about ½ mile to Camp Creek Falls, where we took a short break before returning to the trailhead.
