Eleven hikers met for the Camp Creek Falls Day hike and New Year’s Celebration (second try).
From the trail head, we had a nice panorama of Four Peaks and Weaver’s Needle in the distance. We traveled along the ridge for about 0.25 mile before dropping into Blue Wash.

The trail headed south past snags, large granite rock formations, lining the wash and the remains of a car (the bumper looks like an old Cadillac).

At the 0.5 mile mark there is a large rock hollow where we took our group photos.

After a mile, Blue Wash converged with Camp Creek. If you look up, you will see a flag marking the location of a mine. We turned up the Creek to our left for about 0.5 mile to Camp Creek Falls.

We toasted the New Year and dug up the time capsule.

Several members from last year completed their resolutions and we placed new resolution into the time capsule. We buried it again in a secret location and returned to the trailhead.
