Six goal-infused hikers started the trek to Mt. Ord's summit on a beautifully crisp spring morning.

The old mining road was beckoning us with cloud formations dancing in the sky all around, reminiscent of the previous night's intense storms. We quickly warmed up on the climb, with the top windy and cold, yet always worthy of perfect vistas and layered mountains all around.

Tiny patches of snow were also evidence of chilly temperatures hours before. It is so nice to see this relentless mountain coming back from the Bush fire, as many spectacular wildflowers were blooming in bright hues throughout the hike, as well as much re-growth.

Jagged canyons and unique rock formations are also more prominent due to the fire. This hike is always special and utterly challenging and amazing. I appreciate you all sharing it with me on this day!
