Eight Trailblazers met at the Meridian Trailhead and left on a chilly winter morning, heading toward the Bulldog saddle. A quick walk through the desert and a climb up the hillside lead to panoramic views on both sides of the saddle. After stopping for a photo, we made our way down the other side and across the peaceful landscape, only seeing a few other hikers.

We made our way up the other saddle and joined the Pass Mountain trail. We enjoyed a quick rest and snack and continued on our way down the trail and back to our cars.
A short but vigorous hike got the blood moving and allowed us to enjoy beautiful Arizona weather and scenery. We also welcomed a few new hikers to our group.
