We had 4 hikers meeting up at 7:30 Everyone completed the 3 mountain tops/loops for 8 miles. Starting at 7:40pm and completing at 12:30pm. Beautiful sunny day, windy and cool for the climb up Sunrise peak at the beginning. Shirt sleeve weather at the end. We took breaks at all 3 mountain tops and a tall American Flag greeted us on top of Arrowhead Peak. On flat trail down Arrowhead and on to the parking lot the trail was lined with Valentine signs from a local school group and Glendale fire fighters giving out lollipops and valentine red sun glasses! With one Mountain to climb – Cholla. Plenty of Arizona rocks on the trails to keep us at a slow and steady pace. Great day for hiking.
