Beautiful Day! The weather! The views! On a scale to 100 it was a 99+
White-covered mountains lined the road up SR 87 to the trailhead.
It was cold and windy at the start.
1200 feet of vertical gain in the first mile and a half warmed up everyone.
The wind stopped.
Bill pointed out the location of Zimmerman Point across the lake in the
Sierra Anchas.
Other than a side trip to peak 3559 by Bill and four other hikers, it was on trail.
Enough said. The pictures really tell the story.
