| the hike |
The planned hike is a loop .
Hike the Kinder Crossing Trail #19 about 2 miles down to the creek
(map red line).
At this point the exploratory begins (map blue line).
Take the creek up stream toward the bridge (B). Somewhere between
“S11” and the bridge we exit the creek and follow
the “U” waypoints crossing FR95 to “U3”
where we
continue to the vehicles.
I have hiked the creek north of “KC” in June and it is beautiful. Plan for wet feet and maybe more. See Map. |

| meet | 6:30 AM in the parking lot of the Target Center on the south side of Shea Blvd., about a mile west of Highway 87 (Beeline). For those leaving their cars behind, please park up against the north curb away from Target. |
| drive | SR87 past the Blue Ridge Rock Crossing and then exit on FR 95. Drive 3 miles then park vehicles on FR 513B. |
