| the hike |
We will decide route on the day depending on the sunshine and temps. We'll try to take in the most scenic areas for those not yet
familiar with on of Arizona's most popular hiking areas. There will be some elevation,
but nothing strenuous and the trails are usually in great shape making an easy to moderate hike.
Rest rooms are just past the trail head, so you have to pay before.

- From 101 E north of the valley
- Take exit 28 toward Cave Creek Rd
- Merge onto E Beardsley Rd
- Slight turn toward N Cave Creek Rd
- Turn NORTH onto N Cave Creek Rd
- Continue straight to stay on N Cave Creek Rd
- Turn left to N Spur Cross Rd
- Turn right onto E Grapevine Rd
- Turn left onto N Spur Cross Rd Last half mile is gravel to parking area
