where Deer Valley
the hike     Billie Horn will lead this hike.
We will hike counterclockwise on the Ocotillo Trail to Sidewinder Trail, forming a 5.25 mile loop.
This hike highlights classic desert scenery and offers a rolling terrain with no steep climbs but gradual up and down and nice view points.
The trails are relatively new and well groomed. The area is popular with hikers and bikers, but on a weekday morning we will encounter very few people.
After the hike, those interested will caravan in our cars for 1 mile north on 7th Ave., to see living proof that “Elvis has left the building.”
