The City of Buckeye’s Skyline
Regional Park is a 8,700 acre mountain preserve located in the southern
White Tank Mountains. The park features 16 miles of trails for hikers, mountain bikers
and equestrians. Entry to the park is free.
The preserve features a number of trails of varying lengths and difficulty levels.
Flowers are in bloom! / Corridor of old Telegraph Poles. We will be hiking the outer perimeter of the trail system.
This will give us a nice 4 mile
loop, ascending and descending some ridges on the eastern portion, with stops at
viewpoints and nice vistas, and enjoyment of an easy desert walk on the west side of
the preserve. Rated a "C" hike because of length and moderate elevationC
changes. Future plans for the trail system include an eventual connection to Maricopa
County’s White Tank Mountain Regional Park.
