Sunrise Peak Day Hike

where? McDowell Sonoran Preserve, Scottsdale
the hike     We will celebrate the new year at 3069 foot Sunrise Peak by hiking the well-maintained Sunrise Trail. This most popular in-town hike with stunning scenery and fantastic views along the trail is a treat for your senses. The 360 degree view at the peak is worth for the hike. So bring your camera. The hike will start at Sunrise Trailhead and end at Lost Dog Wash Trailhead
Required:
•  Sturdy hiking boots
•  At least 3 liters of water
•  Hat, sunblock, sunglasses
Recommended:
•  Lunch or snacks
•  Hiking Sticks
•  Your smiles  :)

meet 8:00 AM at Lost Dog Wash Trailhead. We will do a car shuttle to Sunrise Trailhead.
drive The trailhead is north of 124th and Shea (watch out for the speed cameras between 120th and 124th). Go north on 124th St. past the traffic light at Via Linda, past the school, over the bridge, around the traffic circle to the parking lot on the north side. Meet in the parking lot.
