Sun set from My Ord. [photo by Angel]

The weather was perfect for comet viewing. Few clouds and it was warm, but not hot. We got set up before sun set. We had chairs, so we could wait. The sun set was great. We just had to wait a little while for the comet to be visible. The star on the bottom left is Venus (not a star) and the star on the top right is Arcturus. The tail is pointing the direction the comet is heading, because it is moving away from the sun. The moon was behind us, so it did not interfer with our viewing. The moon did help with our trip back to the cars. You can also see the city glow of Phoenix.
