where Galiuro Mountains
the hike     This is a one day adventure in the Galiuro Mountains. You ask where is that? Draw a line between Globe and Wilcox. At the middle of the line in the middle of nowhere is Araviapa. This is a splendid day hike—6 miles in a stream bed (3 in & 3 out). Your feet will get wet. The stream is likely to only be ankle deep. The days will be warm, but with a cool stream to walk in, it will not be bad. The leaves may be changing colors and the rocks of the canyon walls will be splendid.
There are turkeys, deer, coatimundi and many other animals we could see.
Only 10 persons allowed and I count as one.
