This hike winds through many boulder formations in the Northwest McDowell Sonoran Preserve. It's an area usually only seen by mountain bikers.
Let your imagination free as you try to name familiar shapes in the boulders.
The terrain is rolling but there is occasionally a boulder as we progress towards Scorpion Point and Sidewinder Overlook.

Travel north on Cave Creek Rd.
Turn right on Dynamite Blvd.
Turn left into entrance just beyond intersection of Pima and Dynamite.
